" Rain "
The rain has been relentless today, biblical even. Its been so bad the whole railway network had to be shutdown tonight due to flooding. Its not condusive to getting out for sure. Its freezing cold too. Just a horrible day.
I've finished painting the bathroom and will turn my attention elsewhere in a couple of days time. Today was mostly spent under a quilt reading except to take the dog out. I put off the big walk until dark knowing it would be awful for us both. And it was. Soaked and frozen for half an hour and as we are counting every penny there was no heating to come back to. Grim. A day better forgotten
