The second

A second wave and subsequent lockdown looks more likely than not. I get the feeling this was the plan for some time but to avoid anger we have been drip fed what was really always inevitable. Maybe I am wrong, I hope I am. Bit by bit the land is given excuse to tighten the rules until soon it is nationwide without us realising it and without that major headline that would impact we're it done overnight. Its coming. If it does though will if end there.

It's the strangest of times. I can't imagine how this is for a young person. Nothing can go forward. It's like we are collectively sat with our wheels spinning in the mud. I can feel the frustration of those who just want to get back to normal and I feel the fear of those scared of what lies ahead in this continual uncertainty. I can't see anything getting resolved any time soon.

The picture was painted by my daughter during lockdown for her art assignment. It's weird because there is nothing startling about it now. At the time though it looked like this would be over quickly and masks were not in use. Changed times.
